"Being able to help the student understand their coursework after they have been having difficulty understanding their professors."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just make sure that you are a people person and can talk people who have difficulty understanding the courses through a slow problem. You may have to repeat things over and over and do things you find incredibly easy, but it's best if you find it rewarding to help others."
What don't you like about working at Stockton College?
"The fact that we were working very hard to help a lot of students understand the courses they were paying thousands of dollars to learn, but we only got paid minimum wage."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have a number for when the students sign in. This is because I had seen instances where students had been sitting waiting for a very long time without any one coming over to help them. Then the next person who walked in got helped almost immediately."
