2.1After working for the company for almost 5 years and receiving 2 promotions I, along with another employee, was terminated with no warning and no reason other than "you don't fit in here." My DM then proceeded to tell other employees a different reason as to why we were fired, even going as far as to go to a different shop to discuss it with my family member. During the time I was there I never got in trouble, called in sick, and customers loved me. After calling HR I was told that the DM already spoke with them and told them and gave then a different answer about why I was fired and was basically told they didn't believe me and it was okay to treat their employees this way, even after many customer complaints about it. Stewarts says it's a family oriented business but they don't care about family, only making money and getting rid of the higher paid employees, this is not the first time this has happened in my district alone and I'm sure it won't be the last. They also give 0 breaks, even for 12+ hour shifts. Sometimes they have you work closing shifts ending at 12am just to have you come back in for opening at 4am. They have very little care for employees health or life. The pay is unfair because people under you who have less time on will somehow end up making more than you.
Respect your Partners, show them you count on them, share with them, teach them, grow them. Without your partners your business will never be what it could be with them.
2.5You can work for this company for 4 years and get promotions and one day you will come in to work to find your replacement covering your shift and without any notice told you dont fit in with the company and you're fired. Discrimination at its finest. No loyalty with this company, you're just a number.
