"There was never a dull moment. I like interacting with the different personalities and people daily. I also like seeing how managing a team could work so fluidly and efficient."

"Be real. Starbucks is not for someone who perceives to be someone that they are really not, because in the end you will be working with customers and your true identity will be seen."

"Adapt to your team, study them, then implement a strategy so that the daily operation will run most efficiently."

What do you like about working at Starbucks?

"I really enjoyed the fast pace environment, the variety of task, interaction with others and meeting deadlines. Overall it was a great experience as a college student. I really enjoyed the position. I was always happy to go to work."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Show your people skills, confidence, and be open minded. It's not a glamorous job but it is fun."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"While I really enjoyed Starbucks the two items that no longer really fit with my lifestyle were the hours of work, which were as early as 4 am to as late as 12 am. Secondly, I always smelled like coffee, I outgrew smelling like such."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management did a great job training and prepping their staff. The only suggestion would be have more coverage on the floor during closing hours."

"The schedule was flexible and allowed me to full fill my schooling obligation while working."

"It was a career choice I made while attending school, there was nothing wrong with working there at that time in my life."

"They should pay more attention to the sales reps, as reward even with a mere phone call when they see a job well done."
