1.2 I had a interview on Thursday, and oh my hot lanta.. I’ve never experienced such a horrible and condescending rude recruiter in my work search , When i first got the call she was not upbeat when speaking with me , even though she heard my tone how excited i was to speak with her , I even said her name before anything to make sure it was her at the introduction of the call . Into the call she started describing the job , and i let her know i can work with all the qualifications for the position. She didn’t ask to know anything about me as a person to understand who she was talking to , just straight to my resume she clearly had . I answered her questions and explained to her the job requirement types i’ve worked(contracted) and i’ve literally repeated the same thing over and over as if she was being condescending.. As i was explaining to her again about the contracted jobs i’ve held she interrupts me to have me repeat what i’ve acknowledged numerous of times. I started to ask her how success is measured for this role she tells me she doesn’t know , she has never been on the call phones , my son is an infant and when i explained my baby had upcoming appointments she bluntly says we don’t make accommodations and training is mandatory and cannot be missed , so i allowed her to speak her lil spill , and i ask how does this employer handle accommodations for their employees , this lady going to bring up how scheduling is mandatory and blah blah … when what i really meant is , do you guys provide well beings days for your employees that are experiencing hard times , bereavement or mental health chat lines or call lines to vent when overwhelmed .. like you know do you guys appreciate your employees , man this lady says that a question you can ask out HR team ????? She was rude , condescending, active listening skills i give a -3, She didn’t answer from listening i just get like she wanted to be in control.

3.7 Spectrum was ultimately a wonderful place to work. It gave me an opportunity in the customer support world when I had absolutely no experience in a call center environment, let alone in customer service. While they offered a great benefits package and excellent pay, I feel there were a lot of areas where they lacked competence. For instance: The communication between upper-management, supervisors, and representatives was poor. Policies would constantly change (as to be expected in a growing business), but policies would quickly become convoluted, confusing, or at times, incomplete. I'm also not a huge fan of upper-management who tend hide away in their offices, never interacting with their employees. At times, the software and hardware we were provided would rarely be up-to-par, which would create a rather difficult day on the job, and management wouldn't address it until center-wide metrics would drop. Overall, Spectrum is a great company for those who need to get their foot in the door, but I truly believe fixing these management issues, would also lower their turn-over rate.

4.8 Spectrum is a great company to work for - good hours, great pay and benefits, as long as you do what you are asked to do there will be no problem. The management is great, they pay for mileage and also give a Christmas bonus which was really unexpected from me. Would love to work for them again. Thank you, Spectrum, for such a great opportunity.
