Hospitalist

"This was a terrible company to work for. I was paid 120$ per hour working nights in Columbus at a very busy hospital. Learned that I was underpaid. They encourage bullying by other providers and nurses. When I told the program director about the bullying affecting my ability to do my job, he told me to develop a thick skin. Other providers refused to do their work and the program director did not care as long as the work was done. The program hoped that by letting me be the punching bag, his team will stay but they still left. No one wants to work in a toxic environment. Even toxic people. The sound physician is very dishonest in their hiring. The site had a high turnover. They eventually lost the contract with the hospital. I was hired for 12 shifts but made to do 16-18 shifts monthly because they were always short-staffed. I was naive when I worked for this company and just wanted to be a good person who went above and beyond. Instead, I just got work dumped on me. I am so thankful I left this company. I still have terrible flashbacks from working with them. They do not even have the decency to apologize for creating such a toxic work environment."
