"I worked for Solace Counseling for over three years and really loved working there. I left due to the overwhelming toll it took to work in a psych clinic without other employees. I decided to leave for two reasons. One was that the administrator was not available. ( I saw him three times in three years) and also that the emotional toll was great. In a day you may hear about suicide, addiction, death, and the atmosphere was generally negative. So, you didn't just perform admin work you were constantly surrounded by people's pain. It was a sad place to be and I am a very optimistic, happy person."
