"My manager was excellent. I was able to work from home and had a lot of freedom in how I executed projects. Worked with excellent colleagues."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Inquire about the current funding and project availability situation, and about educational opportunities."
What don't you like about working at Intergraph Corp.?
"This company provides highly technical services to the U.S. government. Because of that it relies on congressional funding to the government for its projects. This means that continued employment relies on continued funding; when funding is not continued (which became the case in 2011), employees without projects will be laid off."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Investigate additional methods of funding and additional ways to acquire projects."

"One would need to be aware that Contracting work is not always a guarantee of continuous unbroken employment."

"The availability of work is not always constant, and long periods of down time can occur."

"I don't think I can offer much that would make their Management a better group than they already are."

"Outsourcing to India, people like me losing jobs due to lower rates... and I mean real low."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better think about wrapping Jave around everything. It may be cheap now... but as soon as they have you in a wrapper... they will up to price!! And then you would want it back to the way it was."

"You are encouraged and supported to go beyond your job, but don't expect any reward."

"Death bu 1000 cuts. There were layoffs akmost every single month. No employee loyalty at all."

"Stop pandering to the new owners and GROW the company"
