"We had too much to do with little resources that's common to all startup companies."

"The management had done what they can in promoting the morale, but we were short-handed."

"Have lots of behavioral examples and work experiences to discuss."

"Very little room left to advance my career without relocating to Michigan."

"I was a remote employee had very little contact with manager and wish there was more interaction and interest from my manager."

"Always working on something different every day which makes the days interesting sometimes, but also overbearing on others."
What don't you like about working at Gichner Shelter Systems?
"Management has no direction as where the company is progressing. For being owned by a publicly traded company there is little if any sharing of finiancial information."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None that need to be conveyed here in this type of format."

"I work in a department of knowledgable and experienced quality engineers. The manager is very supportive while allowing independant initiative."
What don't you like about working at Textron?
"Being a contract employee without a benifit package or vacation time."

"Continue to diversify the work base so it is not entirely dependant on government contracts."

"Faster implementation of improvement suggestions might have added value more quickly."

"Pay is good, but company struggles with outdated equipment and no budget"

"Ask questions about current union environment. Ask questions about any wage freezes."
What don't you like about working at Lear?
"The company lacks transparency is not self critical. It hides inefficiencies from corporate and customers. They seem to bask in a reactive culture rather than grow a proactive culture with initiaitves like training, pfmea reviews, etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Boundaries for the plant's engineering resources need to be established. Need to get out of the firefighting details of everyday and focus on longterm key initiatives to promote profitability."
What do you like about working at SAIC?
"SAIC is an extremely diversified international corporation. They offer many opportunities for growth in the commercial sector. This is not as likley on a government contract such as my curent one with NASA."

"There is nothing wrong with working as a support service contractor within a federal agency. Individuals may enjoy this type of work environment. I prefer to be more proactive and play a key role in helping an organization reach its goals and objectives."
What don't you like about working at SAIC?
"SAIC provides a reasonable rate of compensation and the benefits package is top shelf. Again, growth opportunities are limited on a government contract."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I have constantly provided suggestions to SAIC management for effecting continuous improvement, cost containment, etc. Most endeavors require the acceptance of the federal government to move forward."

"The product serves a greater good - USA security and saferty."

"As with all interviews and companies - sell yourself - honestly - have the company sell themselves."
What don't you like about working at SRCTec?
"Low volume production has a culture unlike high volume - a different set of skills is required."

"Canvas the employees for skill sets and put the right person in the position and let them work."

"Its innovation and diversity in the field concerning product and personnel."

"Its ties to the political arena for funding and development."

"Always be honest and forthcoming even if the information is not good,"

"Be enthusiastic, vibrant and get to know the product that you are being interviewed for. It makes a big difference."

"Sometimes the pressure can become a bit more than the usual, but that is a good thing that the pressure is not always there."

"The company will grow with the vision that you have. Keep up the vision, and value the employees, that will help realize the vision."

"The work was satisfying and I enjoyed the proble soving of my position. I also enjoyed the support I provided to my fellow co-workers in and outside the Quality department."

"Be prepared to work hard. It is a fast pace environment that requires quick, precise decisions. You will work with some of the best people you will ever know. Use those people as you guide for success."
What don't you like about working at Givaudan?
"The company lacked support from upper management and at times made decision making difficult."

"Management should be more supportive and use the knowledge of their employees who have the experience. They should look at the bigger picture when executing new methods to ensure it is the most benefical for those envolved."

"I like the opportunities and challenges to support improving their facility in manufacturing, quality, and customer satisfaction."

"Ask what they can do to help them improve the current status of facility."

"I dislike running lean in resources, making it difficult to reach goals set in a timely manor."

"Re-visit goals to make sure all levels of management fully understand and are all going in the same direction."

"Great reputation. Great people. Interesting technology - Wind, Solar, Nuclear, etc..."

"When interviewing, be yourself. Be proud of what have to offer. They love the diversity in both business and people."

"I am very pleased with my overall experience. The volatile economic environment and similar business acquisitions challenged the Salem facility."

"Keep the team-oriented environment. Continue to challenges and improve every aspect of product cost and quality."

"BD is a great company with good benefits. And I had the opportunity to work with some very good people."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"No. I do not have any tips. I was moved to BD from ICPA after BD bought ICPA."
What don't you like about working at Becton, Dickinson & Co.?
"BD was a Medical instrument company not a high tech company. So technologically they were way backward compared to other software companies. BD management did not bring the same culture to our Austin office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When you buy a company, you need to incorporate the new company with the head office and not keep separate. And please have patience. Our company ICPA survived 22 years with old management but BD could not keep it more than two years. within two years after they bought ICPA, they were done with it."

"The work, the relationships I formed with other coworkers, and the challenge."

"If I were going to interview with this company and had never worked there, I would want someone to warn me that I would never / rarely see my family again."
What don't you like about working at Watson Pharmaceuticals?
"The environment and management is completely inflexible and traditional/old school when it comes to family needs and home life. There is far too much sacrifice expected, a work from home policy should be allowed or more flexible hours for salary workers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest the development of Family Friendly Human Resource Policies, and flexible 40 hour weeks be implemented for salary employees."
