Client service representatives typically work with customers in the service industry. Their role is similar to that of customer service representative, though their contact are usually purchasing a continuing service. This means that a client service rep will ensure that the client continues to get exactly what he bargained for. They will make contact with clients on a regular basis to make sure this is taking place.
Skillset: These people are very dedicated and able to answer questions. They are willing to work out problems with strong problem solving skills. They usually have good communication abilities. They are outgoing and personable.
Education: A client service representative will usually have studied either sales, marketing or communications. These jobs are not like some where a certain type of education is an absolute requirement for holding the job. It always helps to have a college degree, though, in the competitive job market.
