"I conducted weekly safety site visits at numerous locations. I enjoyed working with the supervisors and their employees, making recommendations when necessary. The company had an enviable safety record."

"I would strongly recommend that others do not interview with this company. There is no security."
What don't you like about working at Pleasants Construction?
"The company was family owned, and the family benefits (posh family homes, fancy trucks, etc.) were paraded about by some. Most employees were made to feel like peons. Trumped-up infractions were used as reasons for termination without notice."

"Manage the company based on employee accomplishments, not which relative is entitled to work there."

"They are one of the most employee driven company's that I have ever worked for. Meaning they are concerned for the well being of the employees and their families"

"The possibility of promoting up in the organization is not available"

"The pay of positions needs to be up to the industry standards, there also needs to be more opportunities to promte up"

"Again, working with a spouse has it challenges and it is not for everyone."
