"Recent changes have made Rackspace a worse place to work. The COO is terrible and bringing down the company. Middle management is completely self serving and only cares about themselves."

"Rackspace has outstanding corporate culture. In 3 words: everybody helps everybody. Working in such an environment your achievements are substantially higher than in any other corporate environment.Unfortunately, people who created such a great company left it (CEO, Chief Strategist, etc.) and everything is going down the hill. Top executives do not have any strategy, everybody gets lost and works to achieve current quarter sales numbers. In 4 words: end of great story."

"While Rackspace is a good company its environment takes some getting used to. There is little process and procedure, most work is done on the fly. If you are used to a formal environment this is not the company for you."

"The fanatical chant of Rackspace has died down to a subtle mumble under the breath of profit driven focus. Rackspace no longer backs its fanatical promise. The company is struggling to keep up with new technologies that customers and businesses need. They are turning their support floors into understaffed and over stressed call centers. They no longer care about the employees, they only fear the person above them. The management has no idea what it is doing and only cares about themselves."

"I was able to learn a lot with my time at Rackspace and met many talented and smart people. It was a great opportunity to learn about cloud products and services and the underlying infrastructure, as well as gain insight on the positioning of these services in the industry."

"Rackspace is a great company. They are aware of Today's challenges and are strategic in their planning, not to be ignored if you are in hosting! Also they foster the people instead of the job title. That is rare."
