"The casual atmosphere. The unique events we produce. Different from any other media platform."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be an employee that will always be available to work overtime."
What don't you like about working at Clear Channel?
"The benefits. High salaries of executives, and low salaries of lower level employees. Rare bonus incentives"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Re-evaluate the amount of work put on lower level employees and their production. Then, compare it to their salaries."

"No micromanagement, I do enjoy being able to work without a boss hovering over my shoulder."

"Be honest and upfront, and clear what it is you're looking for."
What don't you like about working at Salem National?
"There are no opportunities for growth at this company that are availble."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest being more open to listening to employees ideas."

What do you like about working at Clear Channel?
"I started as an intern at another location, and I LOVED hanging out with rock stars every day, loved the creativity and overall fun/party aspect of the job. Then I transferred to a smaller market with small stations but was promoted to a salaried position AND . . ."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't. Take a look around. Radio all together is on a downswing. You wont make more than $30,000/yr in the promotions/programming department, unless you sell your soul and become a sales person. Put your creativity to use in your own business, television, or the web. If you're really smart, you'll go for something in tech, health or real estate industry."
What don't you like about working at Clear Channel?
"This is when Clear Channel started to cut staff out. They started bringing in Premium Choice talent and programming. In the 2 years at my position, we lost 15 people because they either were let go or quit. I had NO budget, but expected to make it happen with promotional items. My staff was paid $7.25 an hour - not at all motivating for them. Although I was hounded to come up with creative ideas, none of them were ever used. Lazy sales staff. Terrible management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There really isnt anything management in a local market can approve. They have to get approval for EVERYTHING. Even tshirt designs. Dont expect fast turnarounds on anything, even though YOU are expected to do so. The local management are just Corporate Ken Dolls - they only execute what they are told and have no room for creativity or their own decisions."

"This was my first job out of college where I was promoted, and I left for larger job opportunities."
What do you like about working at ARTnews?
"I enjoyed working in the art industry as art history was my minor at Harvard. I had traveled throughout Europe viewing art that I had studied. Through ARTnews, I was able to work with emerging and established artists as well as go to gallery openings ranging from classic artists such as Picasso to contemporary artists such as Damien Hirst."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Larger budgets for marketing and promotions as well as getting the marketing people to have more face to face time with gallery clients."
What do you like about working at Viejas Casino?
"I like the interaction with the guests and giving them cash when they would win one of our contests. I also liked putting together the parties."
What don't you like about working at Viejas Casino?
"The lack of trust they had in our abilities."

"My temporary position lasted twice as long as promised, I enjoyed my time workign with this company. If given the chance, I would except a full time position."

"Be prepared to work in a fast paced but fun environment. Those who are unable to work under pressure, need not apply."

"If you're not looking for career advancement, this a great place to stagnate."

"the inability to truly accept new employees from out of town. there is a definite feeling of alienation if you're not from around here."
