"I do not like the company as a whole. The CEO is never around and makes poor business decisions."

"The L-3 AP&D is a small division therefore we have less rules and process like the big corporation and most of my project is challenging, high profile project."

"When the corporation take control there are too many processes to follow. It slow down the project."

"Out local personnel are good people, dedicated to our team success and our customers. We have interesting work."

"Understand the actual job you will do. Don't come here for the benefits; they stink and are getting worse."
What don't you like about working at BAE Systems?
"Corporate management has no clue what our business is about. There is no input from division-level or lower management. They run our services-oreinted business (which accounts for about 1/2 the company revenue) like a hardware manufacturing plant, but with totally outdated tools. Corporate management has no concept of customer focus. Corporate management has no concept of employee priorities and morale."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Develop a basic understanding of our service business or sell off the division to a company that gets it. Delegate more authority away from headquarters to the divisions and program managers. Forget this Great Places to Work initiative until you have figured out how to make it an ok place to work."

"Even though it was a small business, it was run very professionally."

"Be yourselves if you are good and they have requirement for your skill set then you will get the job otherwise you will not. In either case both will be better off."

"The company was dependent only on two contracts it's like putting all the eggs in one basket."

"They should expand their customer base so that in the future they are not heavily dependent on only few customers."
