"I have worked for TOP Premium Finance for almost 7 years. They are a division of Premier America and considered to be a completely different entity. The processes and software used at TOP Premium is completely different to that of Premier's. The turnover rate with respect to management since my joining the department is unbelievably high, as no one seems to know how to manage a premium finance company. It takes years to understand the facets of how premium financing works, and because our loans are unsecured, one has to be careful with respect to how money is lent out. Caps should be put into place on certain loans in order to ensure that our losses are mitigated, and this takes both a strong understanding of the industry, as well as an education/background in finance. This is not the case at present, unfortunately, and there is no room for growth within the department at all."
