"Be prepared for panel discussions. Prepare a mock lesson that will be given in front of students. 3 interviews in this process."
What don't you like about working at Charter Schools USA?
"The administration is unethical, corrupt, and unprofessional. There is poor treatment for teachers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Open your eyes and take a look at your poor administration. Do extensive background checks on the people who you allow to lead a school. Chances are if they were fired from another school, they are probably being just as corrupt at one of your schools. Be selective and do not let them hire friends and family to rule the school."

"Wwatching the students progress, be confident and feel good about themselves"

"Get more education, at least part-time, and keep doing it"

"Everything (test scores, discipline, etc) is driven by data...favoritism between stufents and administration...lack of rights for teachers"

"I would think more about making my staff happy, and ttreat them with respect"

"It was nice to see children learn and grow. Student data statistics"

"If you really love kids and teaching, then you will enjoy yourself. If you probably don't want to become a teacher, you should not work here. It feels very disorganized and you will feel like you're doing menial tasks."
What don't you like about working at Denver Public Schools?
"Directionless, lack of purpose, disorganized. I felt underemployed, not challenged."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The system is totally messed up. I would focus much less on student achievement data and much more on creativity and experience."

"The ability to work with kids and see their faces light up everyday when I went to work. Had some great co workers and not so great co workers and administration was not that team focused..."

"Be yourself and be patient and try to not take things personal"

"Being stuck in stagnant ways and not open minded to modern forward thinking... also my boss was HORRIBLE and not an effective an efficient leader"

"Listen to my employees more and really understand their concerns and try to help them fix them... also be open to fast-foward thinking and options and not stuck in stagnant, old ways"
