"I had a contract assignment at Pacific Sunwear and was there for a total of 2 weeks. I really enjoyed the culture and felt I had good chemistry with my team. I felt as though there were some recent exciting developments and that the company had a good direction going forward despite some recent setbacks. The culture was the best I'd experienced thus far in my career."
"PacSun is an amazing company to work for. It is a very fun and productive environment. I was excited to go to work every day. They have a full basketball court, a small gym, a delicious cafe, ping-pong and pool tables everywhere, etc. Also, the dress is casual; almost everyone dresses in a t-shirt and shorts. I highly recommend working for PacSun!"
"Working with Pacsun and Eddie Bauer taught me a lot of how to work with a team to be able to tackle major issues. Furthermore it helped me improve my ability to fix issues in a timely and efficient manner. Being able to notate details that were done to not just fix the issue but to be able to teach them to new hires whenever they come across the same issues."
"A fast paced job that required 100% customer satisfaction."
What do you like about working at PacSun?
"Being an assistant store manager, I was responsible for a lot of things. I loved visually merchandising the store and making sure everything was organized."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is A LOT of work involved. It is very fun, but also can be very stressful if you don't know how to prioritize."
What don't you like about working at PacSun?
"Although I like being task oriented, I feel as though the tasks were not distributed in a smart fashion. Retail is about making numbers and money, but you can't do that without satisfying customers, and you can't satisfy customers as much if you're constantly making visual changes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communicate with employees about more than just numbers. Suggesting how they can do better would help a lot."
"I had worked for Pacific Sunwear for the duration of a year and a half and found it to be quite simple. It was very easy for me to dive into customer service and become a top salesman during my time. During the time I was a representative for Primative Clothing and would receive merchandise to help boost sales. I found it to be a staple in my personal life as it helped with communication skills. I never moved up from sales during my time there, but I found it to be exceptional because I was the top salesman, and getting a promotion would not benefit the company."
"Really fun place to work. People were very nice and helpful."
"I really enjoy working at PacSun, everyone is very nice and helpful. I have only been working for a few months."
