"They hire GREAT talent and people. Upbeat place to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be persistant; it takes a while to get an interview. There are many interviews before you get the job. Once you do, expect about a month before you start. They do an extensive background check, drug check, driving record check, etc."
What don't you like about working at Cox Enterprises?
"Too corporate. Pay was less compared to similiar companies, make sure staff does an outstanding job supporting the sales force."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Don't get so caught up in the paperwork; go out wiht your sales team and sell!"

"The ability to break into new business. Was exciting. Being able to work with clients so they woukd be comfortable working with our company."

"Ask questions on structure."

"The company head office was in Canada. The decisionswould sometimes take a little to long. The structure was more East coast based."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Need to establish the name on the west coast stroger. Need more inventory to meet demands of the customers"

"Sales, meeting people, cold calling and the other sales reps in my group."
What don't you like about working at Clipper Magazine?
"It was never good enough and if you mess up once they let you go...no chance to improve.Having a personal life or family that's your time is not okay with them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Telling employees that 8-5 is not your working hours and 8-9 is...well that's just not right. Oh, and note to management putting in ad copy, proofing or any other type of paperwork we have to from our homes is consider work."

"The opportunity they gave me to learn and thrive in the industry, and be rewarded for hard work."

"Monday morning meetings that would last long, and keep me from being out of field selling."

"Be more available for new hires, so they won't disturb us when we are out in field to assist them in closing the sale."
