"Involvement in world politics. Working to defend all of Europe without giving the Russian a VALID reason to object."

"Don't if you have any interest in engineering. Work is all cookbook"
What don't you like about working at Orbital Sciences Corp.?
"Not interest in any form of innovation. Will only do design via cookbook. If something hasn't been done for the past ten years, they won't even consider it.Also total lack of true Systems Engineering. Their Systems Engineers primarily track requirements with little if any tasks that clerical help couldn't handle."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Too inbred. Hire from outside and pay attention to their inputs."
"Unfortunately, I was a victim of the economic slowdown before I had enough senority."
