Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU) is a private educational institution based in Fremont, California. It was founded in 1984 by Dr. Ramsey Carter and Dr. Barbara Brown. Due to California's growing technology sector, demand for engineers grew in the mid 80s. This has led the university to start granting Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering.
