"Nordstrom has a strong reputation for being one of the largest, enduring businesses that remains profitable. As a family owned business, their business model remains dated but is proven effective. Nordstrom is a leader in high end fashion, fashion trends and has a limited number of very large stores across the nation. Nordstrom is also a primary source of label purchases such as Calvin Klein or Thomas Pink. Because of this, Nordstrom is seen a very high end distribution and department shopping paradise."

"I worked at Nordstrom for a year and 4 months. In my time here, I've had the opportunity to build my skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution, whether it is with customers in store, over the phone, or with fellow employees. I have had the opportunity to work closely with my manager to lead the store in developing best practices for processing transactions (e.g. sales, troubleshooting transaction issues, resolving customer dissatisfaction, etc) and implementing new ones."

"I have worked with Nordstrom for about 2 years now. For being a large company, it has a great start-up like work environment. I worked in a sort of satellite office, so the culture was somewhat different than headquarters. Great benefits and lovely coworkers. I felt like they truly cared about my career and well being."

"I’ve worked with Nordstrom since 2015, and all I’ve seen is growth. They allow you to own your time and trust you to build connections, maintain standards and succeed if wanted. Their only flaw odd when management changes, so do the flow of the environment. But it’s an amazing challenge because it teaches you to be adaptable in any situation with ease."
