What do you like about working at NBC News?
"Getting the word across to our viewers in the most tactful manner. I also liked training the new reporters and anchors. I liked being in the know all of the time."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest. Know who you are going to work for and do your homework to learn about the company. Have any questions you have ready during the interview and have your references in hand. Dress professionally and be kind. Also, ask questions about the company as well. It is not just the company asking the potential employee asking all the questions."
What don't you like about working at NBC News?
"I did not get much support from the immediate supervisor. It didn't stop me from being the best at what we did. It just would have been nice to have the support from upper management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More communication with the people that work for them. At a television station, the news department is the meat of the company. It should be treated that way."
