"Great recruiters, terrible pay w/ zero benefits."
What do you like about working at TEKsystems?
"I was a govt contractor at Pope and the recruiters were awesome. I reported to them when I needed something company related. They stopped through the area about once a month to check on us and often took us to lunch. This small offering is why I stuck with them as long as I did. The actual recruiters cared. They were always a phone call and email away. Something that can't be said for any big company where you have to pick through an HR directory to find the person who can help you."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Understand the pay is not ideal on temp positions, but if you don't screw up, you often will get picked up by the primary contract holder such as L3, Lockheed, or GD."
What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Terrible pay. A large part of their business is dealing in short term contract to hire contracts so pay is quite low, but offers the light at the end of the tunnel. If I could have had a perm position with them with decent pay I would have loved to stay due to the 2-3 guys I reported to actually caring about employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a close look at the guys that service the Pope/Bragg area of NC right now and take notes. The work sites often suck, but that can't be controlled. These guys make a bit of difference when it comes to dealing with frustrations."

"Every day is different and challenges me which is what I like."

"Anybody that takes this positiion has to know that it is a limited advancement department. Only one person in the department and I report directly to the Executive Director."

"There are no further advancement opportunities within the company at this time."

"Management here is great and has always been very supportive. Great leadership"

What do you like about working at United States Marine Corps?
"The ability to work with a variety of different and interesting IT platforms. The extensive training I received, both on the job and in classroom environments. The people I worked with, and the camaraderie we had."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Only that the United States Marine Corps is unlike any other job, and that you must be willing to deal with extremely high stress environments with a level head."
What don't you like about working at United States Marine Corps?
"I don't have many complaints about the experience I had with the Marine Corps. I was given more opportunities than I expected to get. However if I had to pick something I would say it was the abuse our gear suffered from the conditions in which it was used, and at times the lack of necessary equipment was frustrating. I will, however say, that ultimately I feel my ability to adapt and accomplish the mission anyway has made me a better network administrator."

"No, I was given the opportunity to work with some really extraordinary and reasonable people."
What do you like about working at Rainey Homes?
"I was allowed to make almost all decisions without having to get approval from anyone."

"I would probably warn them of the stability of most positions for the company."

"People would regularly be let go and hired because of the amount of work available."

"Be better and keeping on the people that are doing a great job so you don't struggle replacing them in the future."

"The company over all had a family feel. Even though the compnay was a medium sized business spread across the country, they did thier best to maintain the mom and pop style feel in the company."

"there was very little I disliked about working with the company. Nothing comes to mind at this time."

"To remember that IT is important. Without IT support many of the sales amde would not be possible."

"I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere where I could come and go as I pleased as long as I got my work done. Being able to fix peoples' IT issues and actually feel like I made a difference."

"Make sure that you are ready when you jump in with Coast. They are currently a struggling business that is trying to get back on track after the death of the previous owner."
What don't you like about working at Coast Products?
"Unstable company where payments were delayed until shipments went out."

"Make sure that your flow of production is stable before you start investing the company profits into unreliable areas."

"I loved the amount of work and the responsibility that came with the position. My supervisor was extremely supportive."

"Make sure you are well-versed in working with Cisco. A Cisco certification will go a long way towards obtaining a position."

"I could not move to colorado and continue working for them."

"I believe that management is keeping things running smoothly from my perspective. No company is perfect, but I had no complaints."
