"Good environment, 401k plan, open to transfers to other groups, and willing to let employees try out something new."

"It was better when it was Employee owned. They try to take care of their employees."

"I dislike the fact that my contract ended. :-("

"It has great perks and retirements. I also get tons of training."

"Certifications are king. You can rise to the top of the ranks with certifications and no degree."

"We waste money at every possilbe chance because we don't want to go with cheaper solutions to simple problems. They believe if they spend thousands of dollars on a firewall we will be more secure... but everyone knows it is all in how you configure it."

"We never get to put our ideas into play because there are a million rules that say we can't. I just feel like there is a lot of improvments we could make if we were allowed"

"It's close to my home town and it's not a bad pay check."

"Push for more benefits, make count your experience and if you're not at least in a 50% fit for the job, don't bother."

"Too much work stagnation, over-the-top control on users and constant issue between IT and other teams."

"Improves in the different lines of business, regarding of the type of work they perform."

"AIG provided opportunity to learn and create. Innovation and creative solutions were always encouraged in my group."

"Most departments do not look for top notch technical skills, pleasant personality and being team player is a big plus."

"Lack of strategic vision in IT investments. Most of planning was targeted towards putting out fires rather than strategic goals to improve over all infrastructure. Hire more managers who have passion for the field they manage."

"Invest more into engineering and system architecture and less into Root Cause Analysis."
