"Interview for a worker bee position in the Rochester, NY office. Management and advancement is available only in the Schenectady, NY office."

What don't you like about working at MVP Health Care?

"The lack of consistency regarding how Softare Project Managers were treated. The Rochester versus Schenectady office varied wildly for the most part. The Rochester employs were often treated like red headed step children."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Provide support for software project managers with upper management rather than throwing them to the wolves by working with teams to understand the real and possible issues before releasing a product or service."

"Many of the non-management employees were nice people to work with and a along side."

"Consider all other options before hiring on at MVP Healthcare"

"Upper management has no desire to deal with realistic dates and timelines regardless of the consquences."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Consider have three levels of staff - current product support, new product development/engineeering, infrastructure development/support. One group of engineers to handle all three levels simultaneously burns everyone out and makes key projectsprograms late"

"Very fast-paced environment. Need to be able several tasks at one time."

"Management is not supportive of staff. Very Traditional Corporate environment. Lack of leadership in management."

"Teach leadership skills to management. Don't go through the motions of listening to employee concerns, Really listen. There is a lot of pent-up frustration."
