"I worked at Tomato English as the lead lecturer for 5 years. It is a relatively small company with average compensation, but the work is very meaningful as it impacts people directly. The hours are very flexible, so if you are looking to put your skills to use without committing to regular 40-hour work weeks, this is the ideal workplace. However, know that you will become "famous" in a China without realizing it, as you are streaming classes to over half a million users."

"Before the recession, I liked the company because it provided the security and stability that I needed."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The most important thing is to be honest. Be prepared and don't waste their time. It doesn't necessarily help to know someone who works for the company, either. I've seen people try to get their old coworkers/friends into ML--but it never seems to work."

What don't you like about working at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius?

"Bullying is a problem that people are scared to talk about or confront. The bonuses are too small. The frugality of Morgan Lewis gets boring and your expectations of the company become very low."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of the old Brobeck employees who bore everyone with their mind-numbing stories."
