"Be prepared to have at lest four to five interviews. Be sure of yourself."

"Was not a typical MS product, or suite of product - did not have health care experience or market knowledge."

"Connect with people on the ground! Employ the right people for the job."

"It's amazing for the first 6 months, then you see the reality."

"Get lots of money because you will sacrifice everything else."
What don't you like about working at Microsoft?
"Our customers seemed to truly despise Microsoft, and this animosity was clearly built up over many years. Some managers I sold to would refuse to buy enterprise class products from Microsoft, because they had no confidence in Microsoft to perform. Also, the company was not good at supporting creative solutions which spanned multiple product categories. There was poor management, and mediocre products. The worst part of the job was the culture of self-promotion."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get out of email and into the field. Meet with real customers."
"Microsoft is a pretty cool place to work, and they are finally coming around to the Agile side of SW."
