"I have worked at Metrolink for eight years. As a public agency, it tends to be very political and micromanaged by the agency board of directors. The executive leadership is very political and not very supportive of the staff. Unless you are the favorite of a manager you stand no chance of advancement."
"A great company! Long term employees are retained and treated well."
"I worked at Metrolink for less than a year. The volume of work, special projects requiring my attention, combined with the backlog I inherited and the Oracle system that had been over-customized and had not been updated in years, all came together to create a perfect storm of a job that was untenable. 18 hour days, 7 days a week, no time for a family or personal life and no relief in sight. I burnt out in 11 months. I hope never to encounter such an unhappy situation ever again."
