"I like the rare $5 or $10 tip I get, the free soda this one customer gives me, and just the fact that i'm employed even though I barely earn anything."

"Don't do it. Go somewhere else or start your own cleaning company. That way you can pocket all the money, just like the franchise owner at Merry Maids does (literally though, i've been told by co-workers that their checks have bounced a few times because of it.)"

What don't you like about working at Merry Maids?

"Where do I start I dread every single day, it's the worst job i've ever had."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Two words: PAY. RISE. Also, get company cars so we don't have to waste half our paychecks on gas. Oh and if you stocked water in the fridge, so that when they're sweaty and thirsty after cleaning and driving around in the heat, that would be grrrrreat."

"you must have high tolerance for BS (from customers and management) must like to clean and no be grossed out easily"

"The hard to please customers, the pay (paid per house cleaned and a percentage) and vacation pay, and NO company car (you must use your own and they do not pay for wear and tear on your vehicle)"

"Company cars, raise pay (percentage), more pay for vacation days and more place for advancement"
