Meissner Filtration Products Employee

"A good progressive company always at the edge of technology. Good employee morale in general. Salaries are a bit off compared to competitors. This company is a good place to start your career, but it does not have much room for growth. Some managers have been there too long and their management style is outdated and their skill sets are rusty."

"Great workplace, keeps you busy."

What do you like about working at Meissner Filtration Products?

"Top notch team and workplace! Really good work environment. No office politics at all. The owners are right there working in the company, and they really treat the employees right. They only hire good people, and it really shows. Also, a lot of freedom and associated responsibilities, I got to do a ton of neat stuff here."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The Meissners are good employers, and they care about character more than experience. Be honest, confident, and relaxed. Christ and Laura run the show, impress them and you're in."

What don't you like about working at Meissner Filtration Products?

"Small-company project schizophrenia is a way of life here. Just when you get rolling on one project, there's an emergency that needs to be dealt with. By the time you get back to what you were working on all the momentum is gone. It would be nice to be able to finish something."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make some long-term choices about what projects to work on and which to let languish. Switching focus every two weeks really takes its tole on productivity and morale."
