"Be honest about your abilities... they appreciate that more than anything."

What don't you like about working at McKesson?

"Release of information is a little cumbersome. Not knowing the entire picture hinders development sometimes."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on keeping good employees even if it means bringing them on a little faster."

"McKesson has been a great company to work for, although lately morale has taken a dive as our old CEO took of after federal investigations and the new one seems more focused on the bottom line than improving the overall atmosphere. That being said my several years with McKesson prior to all that were empowering and allowed me to better myself much more than I could have without the support of my supervisor and team."

"You won't regret joining the culture, but 2-3% annual raises are standard. You won't get promoted, either. You have to move to a different division within the company."

What don't you like about working at McKesson?

"It was very difficult at times to make necessary changes to projects. A single change to the scope of a release usually took about 6 months to get approved."

"Embrace agile development methodology at the leadership level and empower your teams to be successful."

"I think the company could do a better job of paying employees better and spend less in other unneeded areas."

"General management is very good. I can't complain about that at all."
