Lincoln University Overview

Lincoln University is a private non-profit university located in Oakland, California. It is a small institution, with around 400 students. The university was founded in 1926 and was named in honor of President Abraham Lincoln. The institution's first officers were Benjamin Lickey and Edward J. Silver. A few years later, the university began offering more courses, such as commerce, business administration, foreign trade and public speaking.
