"Just a grumbled employee, or am I ? Also I'm personally pissed off. Just to start with terrible management they have to make a long miserable story short. I worked for Light Rx for over a year. Before it was Light Rx it was Premier Laser Spa. After three years of being open they filed Bankruptcy. The weird thing about it was is that it was done exactly like American Laser filed Bankruptcy just a few years back. You know, the laser place that stole all those people's money and closed down. Come to find out they are all buddies. And what do you know, the owner of American Laser bought out Premier Laser Spa and changed the name to Light Rx. Now remember he only bought the ones making money, the other locations were shut down (Columbia SC) and you can guess what happened to those people's money. Right after the name switch was made we were all given substantial raises and commissions. The money was amazing if you could live with yourself. The sales pressure was so horrendous it was Sell or Starve. I don't know how the whole company slept at night. The services don't work, period. They only play off people's insecurities using fake pictures, no real stories. The fat reduction is a laughing joke and the hair removal comes completely back after 2 years. The clients were raging mad about the added on cost and seeing no results after paying thousands. They gave people excuse after excuse of why they couldn't give their money back. Even the ones that had filed lawsuits for being burned. I couldn't work in this toxic environment of lie after lie. So I quit!! After going through a year of counseling because of the stress this company put me through I'm finally ready to tell all. I have had doctor offices tell me that they would not hire anyone that has even worked for these two companies. So, my goal is to hopefully stop these companies from robbing us blind, ruining our credit."
