"It is fulfilling to know that you are helping the Providers in diagnosing patients on giving accurate laboratory results. Since working in a hospital situation is a very demanding job, there are times that it is stressful. I cope up by focusing on the most important part of the job, which is the well being of the patients."

"The non reliability of certain workers in the manufacturing team"

"Improve the communication between the lab team and the manufacturing team. Provide early notice in case of Saturday overtime work."

"I enjoyed the work I was doing the most. We performed diagnostic testing for birth defects in unborn babies."

"I really enjoyed working with the company so much I worked for them twice."

"Bring back the employee incentives program they used to have in place."

What do you like about working at National Genetics Institute?
"They have a strong training program that makes you a competitive technician in the field. I like the work they do and the preparedness I have because of my experience with the company."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Once you get a position, don't be afraid to ask questions during your training. It's better to ask questions and do the work correctly than to mess up and ruin a set of samples."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I enjoyed the way they made their reviews. They were very fair and treated everyone the same. I would suggest that they look more at the individual and what they do for the company a bit more than sticking to their paperwork when it comes to raises."
