"I enjoyed taking notes for other students because it improved my own ability to take thorough notes. In addition, I also enjoyed working with other students one on one while tutoring."

"For those who may interview for this position in the future, I would say that they should make sure that they are organized themselves and be sure that they enjoy working with peers."
What don't you like about working at Keene State College?
"I cannot say that there is anything that I did not like about the college's note-taking/tutoring program."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My only suggestion to the program is be sure to hire student note-takers/tutors who take pride in their own work and enjoy helping other students succeed."
"Really check out the department before accepting a position there. Most departments dealing with any type of finances are miserable to work for."

"Be cautious of the hype of Keene State College as being a great, supportive place to work. It is not, workers here are undervalued, and stressed out."
What don't you like about working at Keene State College?
"Management. There are no checks and balances for their bad behavior. There is this underlying negative current, which runs through the organization. Most people here are well educated, thoughtful and extremely hard working people, but there is this pervasive attitude from middle and upper management, that people are dispensible and that even though there are very specific employee quality of life policies, they feel they are not required to follow them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Objectively look at the management style, policies and culture and put effective procedures in place, to address an abusive manager's behavior. Currently, many managers do as they please and there is no recourse for employees."
