"Good company to work for."

"I have been employed by Johnstone Supply since August 2019, as a Branch Manager. Overall, its been a successful ride, however, as with all growing companies, they have some growing pains and communication channels can be skewed. There isn't a SOP manual so all branches tend to operate as they see fit. The best part is freedom to from the top to manage your branch as you like, as long as they see success."

"The company has very high growth goals with vary old technology trying to support it. Departments are extremely siloed and communication is disjointed."

"As an employee at Johnstone Moyer you are always part of a team and that is what makes each project successful."

"Bill Johnstone and John Moyer both maintain the highest levels of integrity throughout the entire length of a project; no matter how difficult it may become."

"I enjoyed to challenge of solving customers problems. I was looking forward to implementing the new program I was hired on to do."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Every Johnstone is independently owned so find out as much as you can about the local owner and management. If possible get a long term contract. I was unexpectedly let go after moving myself clear across the country and having only worked there for 6 months."

"The new program was eliminated and I was let go with not warning or option to take another postition"

"Communicate more with the employees as to how they are doing and what is happening that might affect their situation"

"Team work- there was a great bond between the outside and inside lower management."

"The Johnstone Supply companies other than Worcester, Waltham and Lowell are excellent places to work."

"The owner was a bit misguided and had poor management skills."

"Upper management needed to venture out to other branches to witness day to day operations and needed to not micro-manage junior management positions."
