We were typical Help desk but our job intil us to create accounts for users in Active Directory, Oracle and other applications so it wasn't just taking calls we had many other things to do that made it feel like we were doing something different.What I hated was lack of communications with us and other IT dept. We were always last to know about updates and or new applications even though we were first in line to get calls about certain issues."
What do you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"Pay and benefits are great, and I enjoy being among my coworkers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If they got the position, I'd recommend they do the best job they can. One thing about this place that I definitely do like is that after working a while here to gain experience, a lot of doors are opened for me at other places just because I can say, I worked for Lockheed Martin."
What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"Initially, it was interesting work. I was learning how to work with the new systems, and enjoying the challenge. Now that I'm pretty much familiar with everything, my days are very tedious. It's just the same thing every day. I have skills and interest that just seem wasted working in a tech support call center."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I'm not sure that I would really do anything differently. Considering the success Lockheed Martin has had in the government contracting industry, they're clearly doing things right. I'm just not incredibly interested in the current position I have with them."

"I would suggest going to a different company if you have the option to."

"There is high sexual harassment, untrained management, and low corporate culture. Management rules by fear, and there is a lack of training throughout the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Educate yourself on how to manage and on how to improve the corporate culture at Lowe's."
