One of the dept head was part of this and they treated my with suspicion and mistrust. some of the Nurse practitioners would deliberately hold chart after orders have been written to delay my implementation just to find reason to complain. some patients from Atlanta were also part of this game.

3.6 I worked for Howard County General for 8 years and found it a good place to work for the most part. The management was fairly good when I started, but had declined towards the end. The main reason for the decline was the fact that Johns Hopkins started managing the hospital. They cut a lot of things to the bare bones, and tried to save money which caused the staff to have to do way more with way less. I would still return there to work, but I am now aware of the stress involved.
