"Interview various staff in all deparments because you are going to get a very different picture of what its like to work there than what you'll hear in the interview! The boss makes grand promises that are not met. It doesn't take long to figure it out."

"A lot of promises about opportunities and potential are made but promises are never kept. Change and new direction are necessary for a rapidly changing industry but the old methods always prevail. Getting along with some people in other departments is a huge challenge and it is often like being on a school playground."

"There would be some people that I would let go immediately who contribute to a culture of division. I would work hard to bring the company back to a cohesive whole working together and enjoying being at work. I would have a customer centred focus rather than a bottom line focus."
