What do you like about working at Grain Processing?

"Grain Processing is a nice place to work because the people you work with are so friendly and outgoing. The company seems to genuinely care about their employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"For others interviewing with this company, the tips I have are to relax and be yourself. GPC has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and lets anyone feel welcome. The advice I would give is to definitely think carefully about the shift schedule because it is a rotating, 12 hour shift that works holidays and weekends."

What don't you like about working at Grain Processing?

"I pursued a career in field biology so I could one day work for an environmental company and be outdoors, praciting good land stewardship. Working at GPC, I am indoors for 12 hour rotating shifts. This makes it hard to raise a family, and is not allowing me to live out my career goal of working in the natural resources and envrionmental fields."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management needs to be more aware of employee satisfaction and morale. Due to economical problems, employees have not had a raise in two years, yet send emails of how they are making record profits."
