What do you like about working at Gold and Silver Buyers?

"It is an average company but the upper management has no idea how to properly expand their company in new territories."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"no experience necessary for this company, I would highly recommend that future employees take it upon themselves to learn material in their private time. the more knowledge you have, the more professional you are to the customer."

What don't you like about working at Gold and Silver Buyers?

"The company will not spend the necessary amount of money on marketing for new stores. Hourly pay is horrid as well. Just .25 cents above minimum wage with the brunt of pay depending on commission. If a company does not use money on advertisement then buyers make no money, then the company is left at a loss for paying hourly as well as overhead for the store(s)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Increase employee pay to keep buyers motivated, use 10,000 a quarter on stores in new territory. Develop a actual training department for new buyers that is longer than 5 days. When you deal in precious metals and have employees that have barley had 5 days of training, its easy to have them make buys that make the company as well as buyer lose money."
