"I worked at Gill Industries for about a year and a half. My experience was excellent and very educational. I was rotated between various departments where I helped in various projects. I also helped design numerous parts and carry out different tests. In my last co-op rotation, I was made a project lead for a production line which was a huge learning curve and the responsibility and exceptions were raised on a whole new level. I can't stress enough how this experience has shaped me into a better engineer both technically and when it comes to soft skills like management and leadership skills."

"The products we manufacture and the customer base. Great engineering resources."

"Do your homework. Sometimes a small company doesn't share the reqards."

"The executive management micro thinking and lack of trust to middle management. Has set an internal recipe for moral failure."

"Start fresh!! Eyes from outside. Get in touch with the other 2 plants."

"Be prepared for interviews, including some examples of past relavant events."

"Upper management had some strange ideas about management, or the way they implimented their ideas seemed to be not always realistic."

"It would probably be a eye openning experience for them if a under cover boss type event took place."

"Be aware of what you are getting into, you are expected to work 24-7, your life become theirs and no you won't be compensated for it because it's part of the job."

What don't you like about working at Gill Industries?

"Managers had no integrity. I personally witnessed them lying to customers and then laughing about it."

"Get to know people and appreciate them because they can help you."
