"I love writing code more than anything else. The thing that is probably most stressful about being a front-end web developer is that there is always new technologies, frameworks and languages coming out (and disappearing) faster than anyone can possibly learn them. I love learning more than anything and actively study and practice new front-end development skills daily, but realizing how much there is to learn can become overwhelming sometimes."

"It's rewarding when you see the final product because of all the hard work you have put into it. To see your design and functionality in action is very cool. I love the way different people react to it. Whether they like it or hate it it gives me an idea on what I need to keep and what I need to improve."

"HATE: Determining Value. Smaller and average companies don't seem to take the internet seriously still, it's not worth it to do high level web work for these companies, they dismiss your work as being easy, and are in denial about it's true value.LOVE: Solving Problems. Front End Development and Design always brings a new challenge, no matter how similar a project, nothing is ever the same. When something seems impossible, there isn't any better feeling in the world than to conquer it."

"I love challenges. Working as a front-end developer is a case-study in meeting challenges. I sit at a nexus between traditional back-end developers and DBAs, graphic artists and business admins and get in each of their heads and find the best solution or compromise to their varied demands. The field is constantly changing, with new browsers, devices and technologies popping up constantly. I'm never bored!"

"I love solving complex problems and figuring out the best way to build something that works cross browser and mobile. Not such a fan of legacy browser support, IE being the biggest offender."

"I like to see functionality in my code and what I wanted to achieve. But I hate to check for issues that are suppose to be simple and sometimes become difficult for me to find or check for someone else code."

"Oh, I love working in development and quality assurance! As a linguistics fanatic, I get a real kick learning languages of all kinds-especially high-level languages for the web environment. I feel like it is my way of articulating the client's dreams and intentions-much like a language translator would! I also love how it is ever-expansive, I learn some new tag, action, function, or best practice more often than I care to divulge and I am always attending webinars to learn more!"
