"I love writing code more than anything else. The thing that is probably most stressful about being a front-end web developer is that there is always new technologies, frameworks and languages coming out (and disappearing) faster than anyone can possibly learn them. I love learning more than anything and actively study and practice new front-end development skills daily, but realizing how much there is to learn can become overwhelming sometimes."

"I enjoy creating, and beyond that I like to create useful things. It's one thing to create something that's attractive and simply admired but it's a whole other level to create an attractive useful widget, website or web application. Then especially within web development you have opportunity to continue to push them along as they grow and morph through subsequent use."

"I love a challenge. When people say things are impossible, the net result is that I sleep restlessly until I've cracked a solution to the impossible or at least re-contextualize it to a more useful view!UI & UX work is at the epicenter of this challenge. All the stakeholders and the end-users need to be happy - but they rarely if ever agree. Somehow in all that discourse, I feel most empowered to find a solution that works for all of them."

"I love the fact that the job we do is seen by the users, whereas backend's job is rarely seen (although very useful). I like my work being seen by a lot of users."

"I love building a web page from the bottom up. I am very creative and HTML/CSS feels like home. My issue comes when javascript and an advanced php needs to be implemented. I am more of a creative person and less of a logical one so it is difficult to move forward once I hit those road blocks."

"I love being able to put everything I know to work and to seeing the results of that. It's like God breathing life into the nostrils of Adam; that's how I feel each time I finish a job. The only bad I find in this line of work, are the rushed jobs that turn out sloppy to meet deadlines."

"I love working on websites. I love taking psds to code conversion. It's fun. Sometimes it's difficult working with developers as I find them not very good at communicating and being social."

"Every job has it's ups and downs, but in this particular line of work, the ups make the downs totally worth it. The thing that really makes me love my job is that there is always something new to learn, some really cool thing to program that gets you all excited and frustrates you when it doesn't do what you think it should. I can't really say there is anything I hate but, sometimes, at least at my current job, there are days that I don't feel challenged and the projects are very repetitive."
