Floats and Fuel Cells Employee

"If you take a job here plan on working every single Saturday on top of the 10-11 hour days you will work through the week. The starting pay for an engineer at this facility is 41,000 - 43,000 annually. They will force you to use your vacation days for mandatory plant shut downs if business isn't doing well. They don't care about their salaried employees at all. If you need a Saturday off for any reason you have to provide a written notice as to why you can't work. They also don't allow you to have any sick days. They tell you that you can take off if you need to but then they will ridicule you for taking off work and ask why you aren't dedicated to the company. This is literally the worst company I have ever worked for in my entire career. The benefits are a joke. The health insurance is over priced and you can get better cheaper coverage through the marketplace. There is also no room for advancement in this company. If you are not a middle aged to older white male don't expect to advance there. Every single member of management is a 45-70 yr old white male. The engineering manager only has an associates degree in engineering technology. There is no investment into materials or tooling and they expect exceptional product while they refuse to spend any money to provide the tooling necessary to produce quality work. The facility itself is very dirty and if you work there long enough the smell is so potent that you will actually lose your sense of smell. The production workers have also been cut so thin that while you may be hired as an engineer plan on your day consisting of mainly production work that could be done by someone with an eighth grade education."
