"Put in writing Good place, but little support"
What do you like about working at BearCom?
"The People, The Customers, and the technical challenges I get."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask about how often Raises are handed out, get it in writing, understand the company thinks that SALES PEOPLE can do NO WRONG, and that the techs are just silly people who like to cause problems and complain.."
What don't you like about working at BearCom?
"Lack of support for the Technical Staff, hard to get corporate people on the phone and when you do they give you short answer with, kind of a now go away and stop asking me silly stuff. NO support for Technical hardware, all most all test equipment has to be begged for, and it is all antique at best, I understand not every tech can have a Brand NEW piece of test gear for all of the new systems, but with 20 plus locations, only having one in the company is a shame, almost criminal. Technical staff is CRITICALLY UNDER PAID for the positions and responsibilities they daily place on us, so branch managers can leave early, and not do what is required of them by their JOB TITLE."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"An immediate pay raise to all tech staff, before you start loosing them, again, weed out the techs that can not preform, get Technical Management and Supervisors, NOT SALES and MBA people with no clue in our industry. Realize that Sales and Tech Services are not STOVE PIPES, we are symbiotic and one depends on the other, have hardware sales support hardware for tech hard ware, train tech staff before selling equipment to the customer. Technical Staff Personal are not Grease Monkeys with soldering irons, we have unique specialized skill sets for our industry pay us that way."
