Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Overview

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is home to the world's leading aerospace and aviation training and research programs. Founded in 1925, a scant two decades after the Wright Brothers sparked the aviation age with their first flight, the university began as the Embry-Riddle Flying School. The following decades saw rapid growth in the university's pilot training, aviation engineering, and aerospace research areas.

Embry-Riddle has residential campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona. It also maintains 150 field training offices in the United States, Canada and the Middle East, teaching the practice, business and research aspects of aviation and aerospace. Major airlines hire more Embry-Riddle graduates than they do from any other source.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Job Information

Embry-Riddle employs more than 4,000 academic staff members, with a wide variety of flight instructors, university faculty, administrative staff and temporary positions. A full complement of health, medical, dental, life and disability insurance benefits area available to full-time employees, along with retirement savings plans, vacation pay and sick leave. Child care and tuition waivers are also available.
