Investigator
in Orlando, FL

"It's about time someone looked into this company for what it really is."

What do you like about working at Walt Disney World?

"I like the employees you work with. They are all in the same boat struggling to make ends meet, due to the low salaries."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not trust anything they say unless it is in writing. They will try to sell you anything they can, as most people in central Florida already know their scams."

What don't you like about working at Walt Disney World?

"I don't like the internal politics and cliques which can make it very hard to do your job. Also, the fact that if you are written up for a disciplinary action, the person writing you up decides your guilt."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The company as a whole needs to look at their way of doing business realistically, as opposed to their magical way. As an example, I was terminated for poor job performance by an area manager who had been a probation officer for a short time before coming to WDW. I had spent 27 years in law enforcement, of which half was spent in investigations, and I retired as a Captain in charge of Internal Affairs. But the manager judged my job performance as poor after doing it for 4 1/2 years before she arrived."
