"Darwin Millet the Owner and President is experienced sales/business man in that he exacted accountability especially in weekly sales review meetings. He is exceptionally brite. I liked and valued everything I learned working at ANDT."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"New sales reps really need to be trained formally in NDT and have experience in NDT to really have a chance to be successful in selling NDT."
What don't you like about working at American NDT Products?
"I was hired to sell and expand a chemical line that I had familiarity with from a previous company. We all had very high expectations of it selling well. It barely made altitude past the runway and is still struggling to maintain altitude with American NDT. Because of the lack of success on this line, I was shifted to other products for which I had little experience and it was more difficult than expected to learn the products well enough to be seen as an expert by customers who are themselves NDT level III professionals; most who have no college degrees but, take pride in their exclusive niche on non-destructive testing and experience. This was the most difficult part of working for American NDT. I found however, opportunities to sell hydraulic bolting tools from yet another previous employer that was proving successful until oil, gas and copper dropped to record lows."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I have no suggestions for management. I think we are all on the same page on all the significant issues."
