"The role allowed for a lot of autonomy in growing the practice in a way that mimicked the overall corporate goals, but the center of power for the company within Professional Services still remained in Fort Lauderdale, which made influence tougher being on the West Coast."

"This is a good company to grow with if you have skills and career asperations in distribution center design. I would proceed with caution if your career asperations are beyond within the four walls of a distribution center."
What don't you like about working at FORTE?
"The under capitalization of the company and the narrow supply chain perspective of some of its senior decision makers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management views distribution center design (rack, conveyer, middleware IT) as its core competency and labels non-design related supply chain consulting as soft consulting. This view limits the growth potential of the company and I have personally viewed prospective clients turned off when its leaders expess their views."
