Working at Digital Risk in Maitland, FL: 15 Employee Reviews

Digital Risk Employee

"Digital Risk provides a great beginner opportunity in a wide range of fields. This job is suited for someone who prefers contract work rather than full long term employment. The initial hiring and on boarding process is tedious and a bit confusing at first with multiple different websites and apps you need to register with and navigate thru. The management on the project I worked on were insightful; the management and HR thru Digital Risk was not as helpful and responsive as I have experienced in previous employers."

"Worked at the company for years and some of the changes that have been made seem to move towards a culture that does not work with my beliefs when it comes to a cohesive and open work environment."

"Revolving door, lack of stability, continuous layoffs, asking long time employees to come back on contract assignments. They are making it hard to earn bonuses by raising the bar to unattainable heights. There is no future in sight for the company. It is being managed by an Indian Company, Mphasis, and there is a language barrier, a culture barrier, and the Mphasis Software is low in functionality, interface, and is not user friendly. Mphasis may have the capital, but they lack experience in the American market, There is a disconnect in the management of the business. Furthermore, the competition is taking market share. The facility often does not have dish washing soap in the break rooms or paper towels, yet they have signs that the area should be kept clean."

"The founder Peter Kassabov and President Alex Santos were exceptional leaders. Unfortunately they have retired and are no longer with the company. Distribution of loan cases were not equal, as a result processors are discharged because they could not meet the goals. Too many overlays and re-decisions exist and most of the time processors are always to take the blame. Too much camaraderie among the managers and associates. Some female managers are over their heads. Too many positions that was unnecessary and too many hands involved on a file. Too many conflicting decisions that current management is not aware. Too many breaks and cell phones usage, texting while working is out of control despite managers giving the continuous warning. Cameras are installed but non functional. This company does not care the good person you are, how hard working, ethical or honest an employee is. It is all about numbers and and profits."

"I worked for Digital Risk during the time that they were growing. At one point there were more than 2000 employees. However after the purchase by MPhasis, an Indian based company, the company went down a steep hill. It became worse when the founders announced their sudden departure at which time company's clients started leaving too. For a while the norm was that you would not even know that you were laid off. I was laid off but did not know for two days while working that I was laid off! Of course my manager was also laid off too but is that enough reason for me not to be notified! In my department one week we were told that we were safe and then the next week they laid all of us off! They have an Indian supposedly running the show but he has no experience running a financial company."

"I worked for Digital Risk, LLC. I enjoyed my work, the people, and the flexibility. The downside of the company is the instability and amounts of lay offs. In one year I was the victim of 2 lay-offs. The final lay-off was permanent. Many of the people I've spoken with have the same feeling...love the company, hate the layoffs."

"The management was not that great. Wasn't informed of changes until they took place, so it made it difficult to do things correctly or in a timely manner. Luckily I was in this job long enough that it did not affect me. There were, however very nice co workers along with majority of managers. The pay was ok , as I could always pay my bills and have money to spare. The hours were great, able to pick my own schedule and benefits were not bad, but there was definite room for improvement."

"I worked with Digital Risk for about 2 years, but specifically, I worked for a spin off called Digital Risk Analytics. Good: I learned a lot and enjoyed working with them, My boss was amazing, I was given flexibility in how I was to solve different problems, can't beat working from home! Bad: no 401k matching, health insurance = HORRIBLE, no annual review for raise, took over 2 months to finally get C# installed so I could do my job (I wasn't a "Developer")."

"I've worked for Digital Risk since June 2011. The organization has given me 4 promotions and pay increase since then. I have learned a great deal. I am very close the staff I work with. I would rate Digital Risk 3 Stars as there is a constant fear when it comes to job security. Also once you achieve supervisor or management roles there is little to no work life balance."
